Laura Berger, MS, RDN, LD, ACSM EP-C
Hi Everyone! My name is Laura and I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist based in Westerville, Ohio and servicing all of Columbus and central Ohio both in person and virtually. I am passionate about helping people experience optimal health through positive nutrition and lifestyle changes. I work one-on-one to counsel clients and help them reach their health, weight, and nutrition goals, as well as reducing symptoms of chronic diseases, naturally. I have seen the power of proper nutrition not only in my own life, but also in the life of my family and clients.
If you are looking to feel well again and live life to the fullest, then you have come to the right place!
I received my degree in Health Promotion and Fitness from Otterbein University and became a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. In pursuit of my passion for nutrition, I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in Dietetics, followed by a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Ohio State. After completing my dietetic training & internship with The Ohio State University, I received my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist accreditation and began teaching nutrition courses part-time at Otterbein, while continuing to meet with clients on an individual basis.
In addition, I have completed further training in Integrative and Functional nutrition, a field that I believe delivers the greatest healing results that people are looking for.
Nutrition is a huge part of my life and I love sharing my knowledge with the world! My inspiration comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 which states “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” In addition, I enjoy cooking and creating new, healthy recipes, exercising, gardening, hiking, photography, spending time with my husband, being a mom to my sweet little girls and playing with my boxer (Rosie Mae)!
If you have been diagnosed with a chronic disorder and are left with nothing but a medication and arbitrary nutrition advice, I encourage you to seek out nutritional therapy with me as an alternative option.
