Hi, I’m Laura—and I help women lose weight, balance their hormones, and feel like themselves again with practical, personalized nutrition therapy that works in real life.
I’m a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist based in Westerville, Ohio, and I work with women in Westerville, Columbus, OH and across the U.S. through both in-person and virtual sessions. Over the years, I’ve helped 100’s of clients ditch the confusion with nutrition, heal from the inside out, and finally get results—even when nothing else seemed to work.
But this isn’t just my profession—it’s personal.
My Story: From Frustration to Freedom
Like many of the women I work with, I once found myself frustrated with how traditional approaches to weight loss and health often fell short—especially for women in their 30s, 40s, and beyond. I watched clients struggle with the same issues I myself have been through: unexplained weight gain, fatigue, mood swings, gut issues, and hormone imbalances—only to be offered restrictive diets, calorie counting, or medication as the only answers.
That’s what led me to create The Perimenopause Diet, a signature nutrition program rooted in my CORE nutrition method, designed to address the real, root causes behind hormonal weight gain, slow metabolism, and low energy during perimenopause. It’s a clear, sustainable roadmap for weight loss, hormone balance, and long-term health—without extreme diets or tracking every bite.

Today, I combine the science of dietetics with a functional medicine lens to help my clients heal their bodies naturally and get back to feeling vibrant, energized, and strong. I help you BELIEVE in your body again!

As a dietitian specializing in integrative and functional nutrition, I take a whole-body approach to care. That means identifying and addressing the underlying causes of your symptoms—whether it’s insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, gut imbalances, or hormonal shifts in perimenopause and into menopause. I use a “food as medicine” approach to target your symptoms and support your body’s natural ability to heal and function.
I work closely with clients to develop nutrition plans that are simple, effective, and tailored to their unique needs—without calorie counting, restrictive rules, or crash diets.

I’m a wife, a mom of two sweet girls, and a big believer in using food as a tool to honor the body God gave us. My inspiration comes from 1 Corinthians 6:19–20:

When I’m not working with clients or creating programs, I love cooking nourishing meals, hiking, working out, spending time in the garden, and playing with our energetic boxer, Rosie Mae.
